NOTICE OF ELECTION & DEADLINE FOR FILING ARGUMENTS PURSUANT TO ELECTIONS CODE §9502 notice is hereby given to the qualified electors of Santa Cruz County, California, that the following elections will be held on June 5, 2001.
Monday, March 19, 5 p.m. is hereby fixed as the final date on which arguments for or against the above measures may be filed with the County Clerk Richard W. Bedal, Elections Department, 701 Ocean St., Room 210, Santa Cruz, CA 95060-4076 for printing and distribution to the voters as provided by law. Pursuant to Education Code §35758, arguments may not exceed 500 words in length. Guidelines on writing arguments and a copy of the Signature Statement that must be attached to the argument are available by calling 454-2060 or by visiting the Elections Department's website at www.votescount.comPURSUANT TO ELECTIONS CODE '12109, notice is also hereby given that the Santa Cruz County Elections Department will be the central counting place for ballots cast at the June 5, 2001 special school district election.Dated: March 6, 2001 RICHARD W.
