We are NOT done counting ballots. While most ballots have been counted, there are still ballots that remain to be counted including:

• More than 1,200 Provisional ballots countywide

• Damaged ballots that need to be remade -- probably less than 100 countywide

Our official canvass began Wednesday, November 5, 2008. The law gives us until December 2 to certify the election. The vote counts will not be final nor will all ballots be counted until the vote is certified by 5 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2008. There will be no more updates to the vote count.
