The economic and ecological health of our gateway to the Monterey Bay Sanctuary is of the greatest importance to the region.  Continued responsible stewardship is my duty for the present and for generations to come.

A District funded through user fees only, I believe in the continued need to maintain harbor infrastructure and daily operations at manageable costs.  As a Commissioner and active boater I am committed to continually evaluate District goals and plan for a viable future to insure success and access for the greater benefit of the community.

It is imperative that user fees are maintained at reasonable and affordable rates not only for the boating public but the general public and those businesses that operate within the harbor.

I am committed to the success of the 39 small businesses operating in the harbor and the several hundred individuals employed by them.  I am a strong supporter of the non-profit organizations that provide for the environmental health of our oceans and the youth of our communities.
