The Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor is a unique maritime and community asset.  It is an honor to represent you on the Port Commission.

The harbor provides safety for boaters and supports our local fishing industry.  It is host to 39 small businesses and home for a variety of conservation and stewardship organizations.

Financially, your harbor is completely self-sufficient, operating without taxpayer funds, and Port Commissioners receive no compensation whatsoever. 

The Port Commission is continuing to improve harbor infrastructure, ensuring it will remain an asset for decades to come.  I am working to improve business opportunities so more jobs are created, while continuing to be a good neighbor to the surrounding community.

I am an avid boater, and long-term slip renter.  I have 30 years experience working with public sector budgets, federal and state environmental regulations, and fundraising. As your commissioner, I work to make the harbor better and a more accessible Gateway for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

I look forward to working with the community to make the harbor safer, more beautiful, and economically sustainable.  I will appreciate your vote.
