My focus is on addressing the housing crisis in Santa Cruz and putting people over profits. In Santa Cruz, we need low income and affordable housing options, tenant protections, and eviction reform. Let's work together and support housing, mental health, and substance abuse rehabilitation services instead of criminalization for impacted individuals in our community.

As a full-time working mother with three young children and a disabled spouse, I understand the challenges facing families with housing affordability in Santa Cruz. As a Case Manager working towards helping formerly homeless individuals retain their housing and build successful lives. I understand that solutions can be complex. As president of the Santa Cruz Chapter of the California Homeless Union, I have attended numerous meetings and met with elected officials and community leaders to discuss the current state of our city. I understand the complex issues facing Santa Cruz.

As your councilperson, I will work tirelessly, and with a focus to serve Santa Cruz, preserve its beauty, and help make it a more efficient and affordable City that families can thrive in for future generations.
