It is an honor to represent you as Watsonville City Council Member. I care about our community and have lived here for over 50 years. I served in the Army National Guard and retired from the construction trades.
Despite these unprecedented times, I have put our neighborhoods first in public safety, infrastructure, parks, and housing.
Public Safety: Police & Fire continue to make our community the safest in Santa Cruz County. Officers are also working with mental health professionals to find solutions for homeless in our streets.
Infrastructure: Invested millions on streets, including, installation of green bike lanes, replaced sewer lines and will be getting an enhanced crosswalk at East Beach Street and Marchant Street.
Parks: Increased funding to our parks, including the additional resources for the Senior Center. Partnership between the P.V.U.S.D., City of Watsonville and Pajaro Valley Little League to open E.A. Hall School as a park.
Housing: Protecting existing housing stock for renters and homeowners. Provided rental assistance through a federal grant.
Watsonville has also provided businesses loans and invested $200,000 on the Food Bank to help with the food needs of hundreds of community members.
With your support, I will work to protect the progress we have made and continue to focus on programs for our neighborhoods.
I will be honored with your vote.
